PART TIME POLICE OFFICER POSITIONS
WINDSOR, MASSACHUSETTS
The town of Windsor is accepting applications for part time police officers.
WAGES AND BENEFITS: $55 per hour for traffic details, and $18.75 per
hour for 30 required patrol hours, per month, with flexible hours. The
officer will receive paid training and professional development
opportunities, including annual written performance evaluations to monitor
personal growth. We are specifically looking to attract someone who will
enjoy working in a small, beautiful, rural community, with people who care
about the people they serve and protect.
REQUIREMENTS: Be a POST certified officer in Massachusetts, or
tracking to be one, with a Massachusetts driver’s license, and a
Massachusetts firearms license.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Applicants must be able
to perform proper proactive and reactive police work, including traffic stops,
criminal investigations, motor vehicle accident investigations, issuing motor
vehicle citations, making arrests, writing proper police reports, completing
other required documentation, testifying in court, and treating citizens with
the utmost respect and courtesy in the performance of their duties.
This is an ideal position for an officer retiring from, or retired from, full time
policing in Massachusetts.

background investigation including a psychological examination. Qualified
